ScreenPrinting .

The easiest aspect for me of screen printing was actually printing the designs either on the cloth or a piece of paper. The hardest part was learning at what angle to press lightly or to press more heavily; because how you press on the "brush type thing" weel affect how the paint comes out on the fabric.
The thick designs seemed to print the best, rather than the thin designs; because if you pressed to hard with the thin designs the paint would smudge through the screen and mess up your future designs or prints.
I leaned that screen printing is really fun and enjoyable. It is something I can pay attention to and give my all when doing it. Also, I will go with a thick designs again and add some more designs. There are so many different fonts and sizes that you can add to your designs and words. There is no right or wrong way to make a design.

Screenprinting Report!

The easiest aspect of screen printing was the printing part. Even thought you had to put a lot of force while trying to get the print n the sheet. The hardest part of screen printing was not being able to use different colors, or being able to print the art on shirts. I was really anxious to print things and put them on my clothes. The smaller designs were easier to print because it would be easy to run through and get over with. But it could sometimes be hard because you had to get every detail printed. The thick lines were easier because they were more open and bigger to get the paint inside. I learned that screen printing is very addictive and fun. There are so many designs and artistic freedom you have in screen printing. I Learned that in my next design should be fulled with more design ,and I should go more full out since I can do anything I want to in my design.

Screenprinting Reports

Hello Fashion Advisory,

Good work at HTW! I was so impressed with your effort and ability to learn so much so fast. The prints look great! This week you had your first experience screenprinting, you finally saw the outcome of all that you've learned about graphic design. Now that you see the whole picture it's time to reevaluate what you've learned, so that your next design/screenprinting experiences will be even better.

Your assignment is to individually post a paragraph on this blog that tries to answer the following questions:

Which aspects of screenprinting do you feel were the easiest? Which were the hardest?
What types of designs seemed to screenprint the best? (Thin lines? Thick lines? Other?)
What did you learn from this screenprinting experience that will help you make your next design?

Can't wait to see your posts!!!
See you in class next week...
